While in Italy, I have taken roughly 100 train trips, dozens of bus rides, and stayed at nearly 40 AirBNBs, hostels, and hotels. I’ve missed buses, had trains cancelled last minute, ferries delayed, and lost luggage. I’ve even had, dare I say it, bad pizza.

I want to share with others what I have learned about traveling in Italy, which is why I created this website. But if you’re planning a trip to Italy for the first time, I know it can be intimidating, and being able to talk to an actual person is a more valuable experience.

Whether it’s knowing the best ways to get around, items to bring, recommended destinations, or anything else useful, I want to help you be more prepared.
